fanatics
an aching jaw, a sprained ankle & a twinge at my back. consolations i had while i endured an approximately of 11hours of soccer, to its fullest. the FVP Cup was up on sunday, which occured on the same say as my training in which i missed the last 3 sessions. a street soccer competion at Jurong East court commencing at 0915hrs. & amazing response it was totaling up to 20+ teams & we had to wait merely hours to our next match, which probably last minutes.my team, team hooligan, consisting of derrick, nathan, matthew, singh & me. our potential was there & abundance of quality. but in term of perfomance it was below-par. lash out our superlative effort but simpy wasnt good enough. being in group a, we had the privellege of starting the tournament in a match against little weapon which ended in a evently match draw, before drawing again to the generations. admiting it was our game, both. bt our finishing did us not favours. we never take the opportunity & im am guilty of some gilt-edge chances. bagged only 1 goal, we wasnt sharp enough. lost out to the title holder, krating, & hopes seem dashed. on our last throw of the dice upon qualifications, neccesitate a goals galore to advance, bt simply it wasnt our day. we were pushing too hard & rushing for goals that we abandoned the task of defending. with heads down, we bowed out of the competition. with a sprained ankle & knocked out jaw as reward for me.
didnt hesitate to get it going, i slog to farhan's residence with that sore ankle. hamster fc training is more encouraging. despite the lerthagy i was a marathon man kept penetrating the right flanks up & down. finally the nail was hammered into a coffin with a final blow which i was caught in mid-air thus falling on my back. it was a cruching tackle & a must. just unfortunate i end up the worst out of it. sumhow im a hardman & giving up wasnt on my mind. bearing the pain, i perservere & continue to give my 110%. was never intimidate to fight for the balls or going into 50/50 challenge with my condition. is those cruching tacke that pleased the most. down 1-0, in a sudden burst of speed after an interception, shrugged of an opposition then delivered a right footed cross which fell inch-perfect for arif to head home & leveled the game. ended 1-1 bt im contented with my perfomance. sumthing to shake off the bitter pill of FVP CUP. 2000hours it ended.
im deadly burned out.
tomorrow school resume. or gosh.
