Brunei/Indonesia; Review.

brunei nearly drove me to lunacy and indonesia had me lose possession to volumes of blooddd.

its plain mundane at brunei, for its my consecutive oddyseyy there. the anticipation and excitement are long in oblivion. while the serene nature still the main attraction there. those got me into lots of pondering states. andd i almost went kaput by missing the presence of dear girlfriend.

by far the longest overseas stay yet, i was concealed in a snail world. seconds grow longer, and minutes wasnt just a stones throw away. each second tick was like a joy to watch. glued to psp, thats the only form of entertainment that keep us all sane.

and the joyness etched in our faces when we landed home was imminent. how much we suffered in brunei. and how the ordeal really grin us out.

days after the arrival, i was left with 3 days to rejoice life at home. soon after, i was on the departue list again. heading to Indonesia was an occasion i anticipate the occurence to be notable. to permanently store a piece momento in my mind. the long trip there, had me all stirred emotionally and agitated. how on great quality of the missing towards my native kampung. pretty much goes to my great grandmother.

an almost centurion, she have been bedridden for days and was a pale shadow of hardworking self. she grew to having little flesh and much too lean. what nearly made me tear is how i was never erased on her mind despite the years. and she, using whatever left of her to hug me. great grandma, was totally one of a kind. in her condition, she attempted laughing and smilling. that sight really make me go wide with my mouth.

a week deprieved of proper sanitation and computers, adjusting was a bumpy road. and once settled, every flower blossom. from natural volcanic sand beaches to indonesia market experience, everybit was something i took home proudly with. the sights and sounds of kampungs, large scaled rice fields and much vegetation was something breathtaking. the bond of the neigbours were much tighted. all function in a unit and look out for one another. and they always say the kampung spirit.

i was most in awe with the beach. undisrupted banks and all so natural. unlike a typical deep harbour in singapore, kangkung beach have shallow knee depth water all miles out. with cunning waves, it gives more touch to the already perfect natural wonder.

departing for home was a trip that im eager. a week worth of memorable outing was sufficient for my naive nature. relatives there showered us with hugs and goodbyes. they have been a good host. and the words uttered will always be, "comeback sooon".

yes home, i ll be there again. a guarantee. =)
